To Where And Back?

This is a rapidly becoming a real pet peeve of mine. To add insult to injury, this really shouldn't be a problem at all. But, it also goes to illustrate some very real differences between how you think/act/conduct some forms of business if you are a member of the majority group, even if you want to try and provide for the needs of one of the more marginal groups. I'm talking about Pornography and how it's categorized, marketed and even thought about by those in charge. Now, to begin with I am not against porn -- in fact far from it. I am an avid consumer. But, over the years I've seen a few things that became obviously apparent when porn moved to primarily from the store around the corner to the internet. This is one of the few places where one size truly does not fit all. I'm talking about how the web sites categorized the various videos. I have been pursuing an "advanced degree", as it's called, for the past three and a half years. This December, I got it. For the decade or so before that, I was drifting. The one constant, I haven't been able to make any real friends since I left the MidWest. (There's a lot more to the story, but I don't feel like telling it right now.) I've tried, I think -- but, something, I don't know what, has changed. Or maybe it's "something s ", plural, have changed. Part of it is me, or maybe all of it it me, I don't know. But, it's not what I want. Tonight I got a phone call from someone I thought was a friend, but he may only see me as a customer. I'll have to straighten it out, when he calls me back. Virtually everyone I have met since coming here, has turned out to be some kind of flake. Except my fellow students. The problem is, I can't talk to them about things that I have to deal with in this part of my life. All I wanted to...
