A Priest's Confession

As many of you may or may not know, I was 'molested' by a priest when I was 12. I put the word 'molested' in quotes, because the only reason it is considered molestation was the fact that I wasn't old enough to give consent.

Other, than that one detail, the entire incident was consensual. I was ready, willing, able -- you could say I was eager. But, I was ignorant of the repercussions -- and that is the reason a 12 year old can't consent.

But, in 1972, there was simply no where for a boy my age to go and get his questions answered. So, guided by my hormones and I was (and am) pretty sharp, I figured atg least, some of it out.

But, ever since then sex and worship have been mixed together -- at least in my mind. In my head. I like it that way. So, when I find films like this, I revel in them. Then the lust kicks in and the rest I'll leave to your imagination.

A Basic Principle: Don't Worry About the Pace, It's the Accuracy That Counts

Here's the entire in context. When I was training people to review and "assemble" the packets we had to send out to clients who had applied for refinancing, I would always tell them "Accuracy Is MORE IMPORTANT Than Speed." Because, since these were papers containing confidential information, the company could get into all kinds of trouble if something went to the wrong person. Mind-blowing fines were just the beginning. (Something on the order of $100,000 per offense.) Then I would add, "Don't worry about the pace. The speed will increase by itself the more you do it. So, don't "try" to go faster. All you have to do is let it happen." Easy to say -- but, oh so difficult to do.
